Since the Scottish Association of Landlords (SAL) was formed in 2001 it has been a member led organisation. Letting agents have been active members of the Association from day one. The decision to form the new Council of Letting Agents (or CLA) was taken in early 2013 in response to the significant growth in numbers of letting agent members over recent years and the need for increased lobbying in view of imminent Scottish Government regulation of the industry.
The CLA is a separate wing of the organisation, with the purpose of directly representing and promoting the interests of letting agents in Scotland. The CLA policy position is steered by the CLA policy group chaired by SAL board member Amanda Wiewiorka.JOIN US
